AIF reaches MSMEs at grassroots

The Asian Innovation Forum of the DAILY TRIBUNE has touched grassroots micro, small and medium enterprises, or MSMEs,with its third edition held in Barangay Sucat, Muntinlupa City, on 30 November 2023.

 

True to its mission to help improve small businesses, introduce new ideas, open dialogues, and foster cooperation through the helping hand of government and private financial institutions, the AIF was attended by about 300 MSMEs that are primarily clamoring for greater access to financing and inclusion in the financial technology sector.

 

Gracing the AIF’s 3rd edition was Wally Don Calderon, the vice president for Innovation and Advocacy of the Department of Trade and Industry’s attached agency, Small Business Corporation. he discussed how the agency could attend to the needs of MSMEs that need additional funding via soft loans.
